Introspection Art Collection/ SM Circle Pro Art

During my time at the residency, I felt both excited and nervous. I knew nothing about the places, the people I would meet, or the schedule—it was a strange feeling. I arrived full of excitement and anxiety. However, in the first few days, I was able to learn about my fellow artists, their backgrounds, and their passions for art. I discovered the different paths they had taken and why they fell in love with their creative journeys.

Despite our differences in experience, age, and knowledge, I felt a strong bond with them, as they did with me. Visiting the caves was magical, but it was the people who accompanied me that truly made the experience special. It fulfilled a deep longing for community that I had been yearning for.

Family also played a significant role in my experience. After losing my father, the friendships and bonds I formed during the residency gave me a sense of community that I had been missing. One vivid memory was watching a family of sheep running together down a slope—it symbolized the fullness and connection I felt, filling a space of longing within me.
